The Problem
Engaged couples in Saudi have a short window to get to know each other before the wedding. Those conversations can be awkward, and there was nothing built for this.
What I Built
Native iOS app with 500 Arabic questions across 3 relationship stages. TikTok-style swiping. You share it with your partner via invite code. 69.99 SAR lifetime unlock.
Results
- Over 1,000 users downloaded it from the App Store
- 40% of users come back every month
- I wrote and curated all 500 questions

Find Fair Meetup Spots
I built this for myself. When I want to meet friends in Riyadh, I need a spot that's fair for everyone based on actual drive time, not just distance on a map.
The Problem
"Halfway" by distance doesn't work when one person is stuck in traffic for 40 minutes and the other gets there in 10. I wanted something that actually accounts for that.
What I Built
Cross-platform app that calculates overlapping travel times and finds good venues in that zone. Your friend doesn't even need to download the app — they just click a link you send them.
Results
- Runs on serverless infrastructure with zero hosting costs
- Friends join through a link without installing anything
- Built with React Native, Cloudflare Workers, and Mapbox

Compliance AI for Municipal Regulations
AI that reads municipal violation and penalty regulations and flags compliance issues for Saudi retail businesses.
The Problem
Saudi retail businesses needed to know if they were violating municipal regulations before inspectors showed up. Nobody had automated this.
What I Built
I built the core platform. It takes data from on-site audits, checks it against municipal violation and penalty regulations, and generates reports showing what's wrong and how to fix it. Arabic NLP and document processing.
Results
- Processed over 1,000 compliance audits
- Caught more than 1,000,000 SAR worth of violations
- I was the founding engineer from day one

Production System for Custom Accessories
A system I built for Lululili that routes custom accessory orders to the right worker automatically.
The Problem
They were doing 100+ custom orders a day but assigning them to workers by hand. Orders got lost, workers didn't know what to do next.
What I Built
I built their production assignment system. Orders come in, the system assigns them to the right worker based on skills and workload. Dashboard shows everyone what they need to do. I also built the Shopify customization UI.
Results
- 8 workers handle 100+ orders every day through the system
- No more manual order assignment
- Orders stopped getting lost
- Built both the Shopify frontend and internal tools

Procurement Dashboard
Internal dashboard for a B2B coffee procurement marketplace.
The Problem
They couldn't see their procurement data clearly and orders were tracked poorly. They wanted everything on their own servers.
What I Built
I built an analytics dashboard for procurement data and order tracking, and deployed a self-hosted ERP so they own their data. Everything runs on their infrastructure.
Results
- Gave the team clear visibility into all procurement data
- Self-hosted so they fully own their data
- System has been stable since deployment
- Built and deployed the whole thing in a few weeks
Dabeeb Role: Backend When: 2020 - 2021
Fleet Analytics for E-Scooters
Monitoring and infrastructure for 60 IoT e-scooters in Saudi Arabia.
The Problem
60 scooters sending data constantly. They needed to know which ones were broken, which needed charging, and everything needed to stay connected.
What I Built
I built a Grafana dashboard for fleet health and architected the TCP router that handles thousands of IoT connections simultaneously. Set up CI/CD so deployments don't need manual work.
Results
- All 60 scooters monitored in real time
- TCP router handles thousands of concurrent IoT connections
- Deployments are fully automated through CI/CD
